The delivery of personal television services creates a demand for additional bandwidth on the last mile of the delivery chain. The Fabrix platform integrates video grooming and processing functions allowing on the fly multiplexing of multiple MPEG programs. The Fabrix streaming engine can send either single program transport streams (SPTS) or multiple programs transport streams (MPTS) for bandwidth optimization.
